DGT blow chance to extend lead at top.

An under strength DGT suffered their first defeat of the season to 2nd placed Aston Village on last Friday. Missing over 8 regulars, the club found it extremely difficult to field a team, and although an 11 was scraped together, DGT went down 2 - 1 to an Aston Village side that was there for the taking.

After Shane Conway put de Tings ahead in the first half, DGT never seemed under any pressure. However, two defensive mistakes in a 5 minute period in the second half cost the greens badly and a potential 4 point lead was slashed to one at the top of the table.

Lessons learned, but the fight goes on.
