Fab 5 Free as DGT CelebrEIGHT!

Last season's League Manager's Player of the Year, Captain Andy Free, made all the difference with 5 goals tonight as DGT ran riot against St John Bosco 8 - 3! With icy conditions making for dangerous play, the quick football of the boys in green was far more than their opponents could handle. 5 goals from Andy Free, plus others from Tormey, Shane Conway and a collector's item from Sooper Kev Ruddock well and truly put Bosco back in their box.

A generous penalty and two more sloppy and complacent goals for Bosco in the second half took the gloss off an overwhelming win. In the end though, but for poor finishing from de Tings, we could have been looking at well into double figures. The result keeps DGT top of the table by at least 3 points and maybe more pending on other results tonight.
