Late goals & Walsh and Free see off KGB!

With injuries and late withdrawals continuing to deplete the squad, a gritty and determined performance was required from DGT and it was just enough to see off a tough KGB side, 2 - 1. Suffering from conceding a sloppy early goal, the boys in green fought long and hard and were rewarded late on with two goals in the second half to seal an important win.

Lenny Walsh pulled off yet another moment of greatness with a long range screamer into the top corner and this was followed up with a close range header from captain Andy Free. In the end, DGT hung on for a vital victory which now puts them at least 3 points clear at the top, pending other results.
