Tings serve up an East Coast cooler!

Goals from Witorski, Walsh and Tormey were required to see off a very strong and dogged East Coast side 3 -1 last Friday and exorcise the demons from last week's poor performance.

With 2nd placed Aston Village getting a handy walkover victory over Sandyford, DGT needed to pull out all the stops to remain top after going a goal behind, due to yet another defensive error. However, an immediate response saw Witorski grab a quick equaliser and set up the momoent of the game for Walsh.

As the East Coast keeper cleared his lines, his long punt dropped to Walsh 10 yards inside his own half. Walsh seized his chance and from 60 yards he sent a crisp volley arcing over the stranded keeper so put De tings ahead! A third well fought goal from Tormey in the second half sealed an excellent win, but the manner of the performance should not be underestimated against very strong opponents.
